If You Ever Felt : Afraid Of Change

Hello Thoughts, I know it's been awhile but work has been hamming down this time. Ugh, I really do hate my job. I mean I work for a chain company that cares little about their employees and more about their earnings. Well, I mean it should care, but when my manager keeps dumping his bullshit load of work on me, that's where I draw the line. A job is a job I suppose.

I have food in my stomach, a decent place to live, and extra money for the things I want. I guess it ain't all too bad, I know others who have it worse.

Do you ever notice how, even though each day brings something new, that something new is only new because of the day? Think about it, it makes sense...I guess in only a cynical perspective.

Okay, so each day brings something new, right? Well I see that something as not being new, but being reintroduced, maybe granted by some small alternation. Maybe the time of day that changes, or the people you meet, but life has a way of being on repeat, and the ability to disguise being on repeat by editing or changing something before it plays over again. It's harsh, and odd for the matter, but after seeing the sun rise and sun set for the past four years of my daunting life, I notice these things.

I feel like my life is a series of roller coasters, and even though it's an adventure and brings something "new", they all technically are the same thing. No matter how extreme or boring two lives by comparison may seem, they're still just lives.

I just want to step off this ride and go on the Ferris wheel; play some mini games even. But I'm afraid that, if I make that change, the line for how my life was will be too long. Or maybe won't feel the same. Perhaps I wouldn't like either exchange.

Well Thoughts, thank you for listening.
Till next time, keep thinking, keep clear.

Davey.

And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars

  6. Find a job that you love, and you'll never work a day in your life.

    Until the company goes under.

  11. If you get a job you like, it becomes more like a hobby than a job.
