Prelude

Shut your eyes, the light is too dim.
Adjust for the sapphire sky raining,
I can't cover you from the fire above.
My body will wield as sacrifice,
Your body is the saint.

Give up the fallout, there is no safety here.
The path you took was the one least known.
A horror story in the water, a holy feast in the fire.
Tell me I'm not dead, tell me I'm not gone.

Till I breath again, I won't settle for less.
My time has expired, my weight unbearable.
Run, run, they've caught up to us.
A fury that cannot be contained.

Settle for the fire in the veins,
the oxygen in my lungs, spread to cause the pain.
