As the cardinal flew across the sky, I could tell he was excited, nervous, and sadly ignorant. He didn't know what the world had in store for him. Though a mother can teach, the world will make you learn. I can tell that this bird is still a child, and has much learning to do. In my old age I know, I can read others quite well. Young cardinal, you are easy to see. The red, the black, the bliss of ignorance. I must watch him carefully, he poses a danger to himself.
I'll wait and watch him, not saying a word. He'll encounter me in time. Those in trouble come to seek me, the answer. I'm old and frail, but I hope to make a dent in this small world; it's the only thing we want in this world. I must tell of knowledge, and this cardinal seems to be the listener.
Oh, he's landing in a tree known for only being occupied by blue jays. Let's see how this bird will fly...
Very artistic :)

I liked this. While reading it, I was thinking of my younger brother and watching the mistakes he makes...the same ones I used to make when I was younger. Interesting.
