The Castle & The Church: The Young Heart

When the road we've traveled,
becomes dark and bleak;
It has a way, of defeating our winning streak.
Have it be faith in fate,
or trust in yourselves,
what guides our way we can never tell.

Through deceit and lies,
the greatest of things promised,
are told with pierced eyes.
I've entered my world gray and shallow.
Held in my hands awaits temptation,
for those who question.

Told here is near, and there is far,
captioned with faintest of hearts.
The lessons we learn,
and the lessons we're told,
are two things that commit to burn.
With my heart untrained,
The evil and the good, are going to be the same.

Know nothing of the heroes and villains,
thieves and robbers.
I'll steal the stars, keep them as my own.
Be able to test the sky, and breach the ground.
All hail to the wishful crown.
Call me young, an ignorant child of sorts.
But I command the power,
that nor Priest or King can retort.
Conquer fate and luck,
I know nothing do with such.

Told here is near, and there is far,
captioned with faintest of hearts.
The lessons we learn,
and the lessons we're told,
are two things that commit to burn.
With my heart untrained,
The evil and the good, are going to be the same.
