The Castle & The Church: The Angel With No Wings

I am just like anyone else.
I promise not to confuse,
only learn what is to be taught.
Hearing my name strikes fear,
but just give it a passing thought.
Granted my past leaves a thickened scar,
I stitch it up with any fallen star.

Shot down from the sky,
I held honor and valor,
But when power controls the person,
The king took away everything.
Now I'm left, an Angel with no wings.

There is more to explore,
when viewed from all angles.
Open your mind to the obscure,
holding tight to a feeling of being secure.
Young child, your heart is fragile and bare,
tell me what you want,
and I can make appear.
For your eyes only, a sweet being of this world.
I mean you no harm, not to cause fright or scare.

Shot down from the sky,
I held honor and valor,
But when power controls the person,
The king took away everything.
Now I'm left, an Angel with no wings.

Child I'll show you the power of fate.
I'll show you the power of time.
Combine, combust, and out shine.
