The Hunter and The Lions

The statues still stand tall.
They are at the gates waiting for us to erupt.

It's time we must listen to the voice of reason,
a range of tone saving the sound.
Reverse the floods of selfishness,
we cannot let them win with our lost ambition.
We are gathered here today,
to witness the death of us all.
The past will cry, the future is frozen.
But this present needs to be warped.

Move forward, or be left behind.
Progress in this state of mind.

It's time the hunter fed the lions.
We're hungry for some blood.
Without the sweat we have lost the faith,
let's restore the sanity left in humanity.

I know there is so much to do,
in such little time my cub.
But put trust in me and the tribe we are.
We are born wild but we can be tamed.
Cages and bars await, if we don't change our lives.
I am the predator, you are the prey.
I am the hunter, not the hunted.
I will never go back again.

It's time the hunter fed the lions.
We're hungry for some blood.
Without the sweat we have lost the faith,
let's restore the sanity left in humanity.

I am the king, I rule this land.
This lion statue makes a stand.
I am the lion, hear my roar,
Fear when the I am at the door.

I am the king, I rule this land.
This lion statue makes a stand.
I am the lion, hear my roar,
Fear when the I am at the door.
