A Backpack Full Of Animals

We're here tonight, to celebrate, a year together,
without a fight, we'll sing, out loud,
as if we have our own little crowd,
remember how I, used to hold, your hand,
when we would walk, going absolutely nowhere,
how we would just talk, down the at the park,
never ever afraid of the dark,

when I miss you, I close my eyes,
and pretend I never said goodbye,

so spread your arms and fly,
when you need me, look towards the sky,
gaze out to our shinning star,
then you'll finally know, I'm not that far,

Please take my jacket, your arms are getting cold,
for I did not know, what the weather foretold,
I will look away, in an attempt to breath,
how am I ever, going to speak while I grind my teeth,

it's amazing how just one gentle breeze,
can turn all in its way to frost and freeze,
when you laugh I smile, when you blush I melt,
seeing you happy, is the greatest feeling I have ever felt,

when I miss you, I close my eyes,
and pretend I never said goodbye,

so spread your arms and fly,
when you need me, look towards the sky,
gaze out to our shinning star,
then you'll finally know, I'm not that far,
